In memory of Mama

IN LOVING MEMORY OF MY MAMA..

September 21, will be one year since my mom went to heaven to be with Jesus. I am so thankful she is now at peace, that He has the power to heal, to dry her tears and that she knows no more pain.

Thank you Jesus for being such a tender caregiver to those in need. A healer for the sick, a comforter to those who mourn, a friend for those who are lonely.

I am thankful for those who loved her here and cared for her. God bless you all.

If you don't know Jesus, please accept His love. He loves you so much and forgives you for anything. I want to see you in heaven too.

Miss you Mom, but knowing you are happy now is such a blessing.

A LAZY SUMMER DAY!

Hello everyone!

A lazy day. I got home late from Bountiful, Utah last night. I had been at daughter Julie's. Today I did a little of nothing.

Did go get mail and stopped at one of the thrift stores. I got this tulle and of course had to wash and dry it right away and it looked so pretty hanging on the line.

One of my favorite things is raspberries and vanilla ice-cream and nothing is better than having your own raspberry bushes so they are fresh.

I enjoyed my dessert so much, yummy!

Happiness continued

April 1st was also happy because 3 of the grandkids spent the night before here, we had Papa Pudge's Pancakes for breakfast and the kids hung out and played all day. Matthew, Garrett, Aly and a few of the neighbor kids broke out the sidewalk chalks, ( a sure sign of Spring), played basketball and had a great time. I love the sounds of the kids playing, the ball thumping as it hits the driveway and the laughter... I'm Happy~

On April 1st, it was warm, almost 80. I got to wash sheets and hang them on the line. One of my favorite smells in the world is the smell of sheets that have been hung to dry on the line. Springtime!!! I am so excited that we had such a warm day.

I'm happy.

Rest in peace Mom

Yesterday was a beautiful October day. An unusually warm Indian Summer afternoon when we buried my Mom's remains next to my Dad's. She is already rejoicing in Heaven and is free from pain! I praise our LORD and Savior for that! Thank you for Your wisdom in choosing her as our Mom.

We buried mom yesterday. It was a beautiful October day. She is already rejoicing in Heaven but we laid her remains next to my Dad in New Haven Cemetary. I miss you mama! I am so glad God has promised no more tears, sadness, sorrows or pain because I know you are at peace and have no more pain. I love you mom.

Just some thoughts!

hello all!



Just a little tired and contemplative tonight. Working which I love but does make me tired because I don't work all the time... Very challenging, love the kids and parents. Most of all I truly love the people I work with. Amazing, how we all work to help one another... at least I feel like we do and so appreciate each of them...



My mama is leaving the nursing home and returning to her apartment in 2 days... Please pray for her to be safe. I truly believe she is in His hands and God's will will be done. I just don't want her to fall again or for her kidneys to fail, or for her not to eat right or take her medicine wrong....so many things.. God bless her abundantly.. bless those who have cared for her and cover us all with Your amazing love. Praying for help for mom at home. She needs someone to help her with personal care and house cleaning... I don't know, only God does... He has designed and planned for her especially.. He alone knows the purpose... Thank you Lord..

Glorious Day!

Good Morning!

Just wanted to wish all a glorious day!! What a beautiful morning here. Jim and I are going to the car show downtown. I then am going to see mom and run those never ending errands...And must finish the house so Julie and kids have a snuggly place to sleep and play when they get here.

I can hardly wait to see my sweet daughter Julie and Shaina, Isaiah, Abbey and Noah...They are coming for my birthday, yahoo~
